A Word of Caution

Welcome to the realm of the Unseelie Court. Feel free to wander and browse, but know that the content you will find here is not for the faint of heart. The visions portrayed are often darkly erotic, even disturbing, and should be traversed only by those with the appropriate character and mental age.

The Tales

  • Aliens in our Midst
Sometimes you get an idea, and you just have to do something with it or you lose it. This story has great big ideas, but I'm dragging my feet. Check it out. If you like the flavor, let me know and I'll continue it. This story is about the life and times of a girl who meets a man who turns out to be more, and less than he looks.
  • Billy's Education
I've actually had this story around for a while, but I've resisted posting it because it was so much like Laslo Gate. Another triad, they were actually written years apart. Billy, or "BB", is a young woman who learns that there is much more to sex and pleasure than the back-seat fumblings of her teenage boyfriends.
  • Elfmaid
Just a quick fun piece. Sha'lia the elf has a bad day in the tunnels under a mountain. Yes, there might be a part II.
  • Faerie Tale
This is a sister piece to Poppins' Return. It was actually written first, but I lost the theme for a while. Poppins' made me reconsider. Enjoy... And there's more to come.
  • Freedom For Tara
This story developed out of a single post in a discussion group. It's weird where ideas come from sometimes.
  • From the Journals of Rachael M. Blist
This is the ongoing adventures of an intergalactic call-girl as she travels the stars and learns that the galaxy is a much stranger place than she ever imagined. (And a lot more fun, too.) It tends to stay on the humorous side, and I shamelessly steal characters and snippets of other authors worlds. (Hey, it's my fantasy after all...) This story had its birth after I viewed some great art work. Fritzz's - Alien Sex Fiend is a fantastic series of semi-comic art that makes me think of the sex scenes that were always missing from sixties sci-fi novels.
  • Harry Potter and the Charm of Venus
My apologies to J. K. Rowling, but as the magical threesome heads into their late teens, I just couldn't resist expanding their education a bit. In this short work (I can't see it going more than a few chapters), Harry learns the hard way that sex waits for no man, and that there's a lot more being taught at Hogwarts than he thought.
  • Hermione's Horticulture Part II
Here's a short narrative regarding how Hermione happened to find herself at the mercy of a rather pernicious plant.
  • Lara and the Plant
Even Lara Croft sometimes stops to smell the flowers, unfortunately, dallying before this beauty has unexpected results.
  • Lara vs. the Green Slime
It wasn't the first time that Lara had dealt with large protoplasm creatures, but this one seemed bent on something far more worrisome than simply digesting her for lunch.
  • Laslo Gate
The life and loves of three brilliant people as they try to find meaning to the word, "inhibition." Good dialog, but shallow on plot. (Perhaps in a coming chapter...)
  • Little Lost Nymph
More ongoing stuff that cuts off right as it's getting good. Two short chapters for now, sorry. This story sets the record straight on forest folk as it follows the exploits of a Nymph who inadvertently ends up in the middle of the city one day, instead of her forest home.
  • Minnow’s Tower
This little story grew out of an interesting dream. There was a lot more I wanted to add, but due to time constraints, I had to make it into a mini-story.
  • Persistence of Memory
What defines a man? What causes our brains to be "us?" This is a story about a man, a woman, and a whole new way to see life.
  • Pods
This was actually written mostly during my first year in college. It's been sitting around forever, unfinished. I finally decided to bring it back to life and give it an ending and a sketch. Sorry, I just pooped out on the coloring. Maybe some other day. The story is still one of my personal favorites.
  • Poppins' Return
Did you ever read the Pamela Travers books about Mary Poppins when you were a kid? Well, it's a new millennia, and times have changed. Find out the real story behind the flying nanny and her kin.
  • Red
Continuing the colony theme, this is a twist on an old faerie tale.
  • Rinowa's Prison
This short would make a great intro into a series. We'll see. This is a pseudo "period piece", and was actually very difficult for me to write because of the style and narrative I restricted myself to. Only two names are officially mentioned.
  • Slick
This is a short-short that developed over the course of a single afternoon. Personally, this kind of writing is the most satisfying for me since it's like watching a movie and I have no more idea of "what happens next" while I'm writing it than you, the reader. In any case, I released it on a limited basis earlier, but here it is finally as an official post.
  • Tales From the Fae – Part IV: Songsmith
Continuation of the Poppins' Return storyline concerning the reemergence of the Tuatha de Danann and the Fae.
  • Tales From the Fae – Part V: The Academy of Dana
I don't know about you, but having read the J. K. Rowling "Harry Potter" books, I was left wanting for something. Perhaps it was the flippant, almost sarcastic way she treated the whole idea of magic (which is fine in a book targeted to young adults), but I always wondered what it might have been like at Hogwarts from an adult perspective. (I'm not the only one... Check out T. Catt's other works as well as several other great artists at www.catthouse.com) What if it wasn't kids, but young adults in their sexual prime. I make no apologies for carrying that idea into this new story, and I hope I have deviated enough to allow the reader to enjoy it for what it is. Zip a few years into the future from part IV and follow the adventures of Miranda Summers as she and her new friends learn the ways of the Fae at place of learning unlike any other on Earth.
  • Tales From the Fae – Unseelie Summer
This is the second book in the Academy of Dana stories from Tales From the Fae. Technically, it takes place between Miranda's first and second semesters at the Academy.
  • That Sinking Feeling: A Cassandra Cain – Batgirl Story
See this link for a better explanation of why I wrote this.
  • The Book of Enoch
The best legends are the ones that have origins in actual truth. This idea came after hearing someone talk about the little known Book of Enoch. My curiosity piqued, I did a little research and found and interesting anomaly which then became the foundation for a fun little story start. I'm not completely certain where I'm going with it yet (what else is new), but it was fun none the less. It delves a little more into the macabre than usual for me.
  • The Farmer's Daughter
I think if I do too many more of these "colony" stories I'm going to have to make them their own section. This piece started as an "intro" to yet another story that has been sitting in a virtual drawer for years. I pulled it up on a whim, and before I knew what I was doing, I was finishing the fourth chapter. Just a warning, this story pushes the edge of my own personal squick factor. Take it or leave it, it is what it is. Life on a crystal farm is hard, mostly boring work. So, when a young, attractive man shows up at her father's ranch, Rachael decides to take full advantage of the situation.
  • The Gardens of Genseminede
More from the colony worlds. This very short piece was a "leftover" of ideas that have been floating around in my head for some time. Timing is everything, especially in the dangerous outer world colonies.
  • The Land of Milk and Honey
A simple little "straight sex" piece... "Straight" only in that the couple involved are heterosexual.
  • The Mirror
This is one of my personal favorites. The shear openness of this concept makes it fun to work with. Chapter 6 - The Castle, is a parody on the basic Snow White theme and is probably some of the funniest writing I have ever done. Be warned, this story is really out there... But then again, almost all of my stories are pretty far gone.
  • The Tangler Funnel
Been having a lot of dreams about sinking lately... Here's a quick sketch with a very brief story (because I couldn't keep the idea to a paragraph).
  • Torrid
Long time no update... sorry. Here's a quick little bit of writing I did one evening. The story really didn't go anywhere interesting... well, okay, at least not in a literative way... so I decided to do a couple of drawings for it. Enjoy.
  • Type Four
I often find that my muse thrives during my non-waking hours, and this short piece was germinated at just such a time. I had a lot of fun with the characters, and I even managed a drawing to boot. The colony worlds were never for the feint of heart, but when planets start falling out of contact, the military scrambles to understand a new enemy.
  • Unseelie Traps
Kara learns the hard way to be wary when weary.
  • Xochiquetzal
"Damn it all, where the hell are you..." cursed Lara under her breath as she wound her way past a tricky ledge. She'd already warned her sherpa three times since they entered the cave system to stay close to her. She wasn't so worried about herself, but the last thing she wanted was the blood of a young girl on her hands when she went back to the village. It was going to be hard enough getting a few stolen relics past their watchful eyes, let alone having to explain how one of their most beautiful daughters got her dumb self skewered on some trip stick or eaten by a giant rat.
  • Zombie Land
Once again, this is a little dream-forged mini-story that builds out of several concepts used in other works. I borrowed the Var-Lish from Tara and gave a look at a possible future where they're concerned. Post-apocalyptic in nature, this work really didn't convey the feeling that I was trying to achieve (that which was in my dream) but is fun none the less.
